The RSPB in the North of England

In the North of England the RSPB (The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) has six staffed reserves with substantial visitor services and a further ten, mostly without permanent full-time staffing and with fewer facilities. All sixteen make both an important contribution to nature conservation and give pleasure to those of us who find enjoyment in the natural world.
