I haven’t written here for a few days but while sorting through some photos I came across this one that I took while on a few days’ break in Bridlington last April.

All too often the northern counties of England are portrayed as full of smoke-blackened mills and abandoned coal mines, but this is far from the reality.  We have mountains, moors, rivers, lakes ….. and long stretches of beautiful coast.  This is just a small sample.
